WHAT IS THE BEST TYPE OF PICTURE TO SEND?
The picture of your pet should be clear and sharp with accurate color and detail. The better the photo, the better I will be able to capture the essence of your pet. With pets, as with people, the eyes are the window to the soul. That’s why a clear-eyed, (no red-eye) close-up photo is best. I also prefer a straight-on shot, as opposed to a profile or three quarter view. Here are a few examples:
Image files need to be high-resolution and in one of these file formats: jpg or jpeg, png, or pdf.
HOW DO I PAY?
Payment can be made with any major credit card or PayPal.
WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING CHARGES? / WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
Your pet portrait can be shipped anywhere in the United States for an additional $12. Local pickup is available in East Orange, New Jersey at no additional cost.
WHEN WILL THE PORTRAIT BE COMPLETED?
I will do my absolute best to meet deadlines for each commission ordered, dependent upon current works in progress. Most portraits can be completed within 3-4 weeks. Rush orders can be completed within one week for an additional 25% charge upfront.
Once your portrait is complete, I will email you a digital copy for your approval. You may then accept the painting or suggest changes. I will then make any necessary adjustments and then send you another digital copy for your approval.
Upon final approval, I will send the painting to you. If, for whatever reason, you decide not to take possession of the portrait, I will keep it and the deposit. I retain the rights to any digital representation of the portrait which you have received during the process.
